The main ingredients needed in both herbal and essential oil bath salts your main ingredients needed are Epsom salts, baking soda (not needed if salts will be used immediately), and sea salt. For the essential oil bath salts you will need essential oils, and for the herbal bath salts you need whatever herbs or rinds you like. You will also need some sort of container to put the salts in, and measuring tools. For the essential oil salts, fill a jar about halfway with Epsom salts, then add a generous portion of sea salt (about a quarter of the amount of Epsom salts), and a spoonful of baking soda. Shake jar to mix well. The oils used in the video are bergamot (about 9 drops), lemongrass (4 or 5 drops), and patchouli (1 or 2 drops). Place a little more salt on top of the oils (so it doesn't stick to the lid) and shake well. Top container off with Epsom and sea salt and shake again to complete. For the herbal bath salts, begin by filling the jar the same way as the essential oil salts (about halfway with sea/sea salt and a bit of baking soda), add a generous amount of lavender, rose petals, and orange peel (no need to worry about sticking) and shake well. Can also add a few drops of essential oil of your choice as well (make sure to put salt on top before shaking) and shake to combine.
